Remove category from permalinks hurts seo ?

    Short urls are good.. I say as long as the topic shows, then your SEO is good for that term (the title). The only concern I would have is if the current pages have already been indexed with the cat url’s.. if so, you can go ahead and perform the change, but i would definitely perform 301 redirects to maintain any existing rankings that you have.

    And how can I make these 301 redirects ? I’m a newbie in this kind of things. 🙁

    Redirect 301 /oldpage.html http://www.example.com/newpage.html
