Remove background image from area behind text

    A past employee put a background image on the entire background of our website. I was able to go in and remove the background image, but it only removed it from the area on the sides of the text. The image is still on the whole box directly behind the text.

    What I want is the ENTIRE background to be white, but I cannot find where to remove/edit the coding for the text area. Can someone please walk me through this step by step?
