Remove background circle, coloured shadow on FA Icon?

    Took me a while to figure out that of all those custom icon settings none changed the circle in background, recommend you guys clarifying that.

    Apart from this, great bunch of features, and considering Pro.

    Until then: can I get a shadow, and the specified effects applied to only the icon, no circle-background?

    Thank you for your question!

    Right now it is not possible to remove the background with the shadow. We do support that feature on the new version of Buttonizer, version 2.0 beta. You might like to try it out 🙂

    In the 1.5 version you can try the color code #ffffff00 . So ‘white’, with zero opacity. The color picker of WordPress won’t like it if you do that, but it works. The only thing left is the shadow of the button container. There is no solution for that yet.

    Icon shadow isn’t a feature that Buttonizer supports yet. You can try using CSS to add a shadow. If you want to add the shadow to specific buttons you need to use the ‘custom class’ functionality, unfortuately this is not a feature of the free version.

    I’m a bit unclear what is working in v2 beta vs Pro?
    Is this the v2 beta for free and pro have that feature, you don’t support icon shadow, but maybe in Pro?

    Can I get a demo of what Pro can do?

    Hi Reelism,

    I meant with the version 2.0 that this version supports transparent backgrounds by default and the v1.5 doesn’t support that, unless you force the colorcode in the colorpicker to #ffffff00

    The 2.0 is free beta testing of all the features. But there is a big difference between the current version of Buttonizer and the 2.0. So it wouldn’t work to compare it with the current premium features/version.
