Remove Avatar Upload From BBpress Edit Page

Is there a way to remove the Avatar upload feature from the BBpress edit profile page? For some reason it is not working on the edit profile page, but it works fine on an external page with the use of the shortcode. I would like to just go this route and avoid having the upload avatar feature on the Bbpress edit profile page at all. Is there a way to remove this? I have tried editing mentions of BBpress in the includes/wpua-functions.php file, but had no luck. Just need a quick for this.
