Remove Address and Zip Code

    Hello again,

    How would I go about removing or hiding the “Address” and the “Zip Code” fields on the Submit Listing page? is modifying the template files the only way?

    Thank you for any help.

    Just uncheck “Enable Locations” option under the plugin’s “General Settings” page.

    Thank you for the quick reply.

    I actually would like to keep the locations, I just don’t need users to enter their address and zip code.

    Any way I can do that?

    Sorry. At present, the only solution is to modify the template file and remove those fields.

    You can achieve this by editing the file {root}/wp-content/plugins/advanced-classifieds-and-directory-pro/public/partials/user/acadp-public-edit-listing-display.php

    We advise you to write override instead of editing the above file directly. Kindly refer https://pluginsware.com/documentation/customizing-acadp-templates/

    Thank you!

    I’ve followed the steps and edited the file successfully.
    Perhaps on the next update we could have an option to show/hide such fields.
    I think it could come in handy.
