Remove 301 Redirect

    Hi,
    How can I remove 301 redirects for posts once it is saved? – Is this a bug?

    I created a post and redirected it to an another website page via Yoast Advanced Tab (301 redirect). I now want to remove the redirect. So I went back to the Yoast Advanced tab and deleted the URL from 301 Redirect field and saved the post. There was no effect, the post still keeps redirecting to the other website.

    Found out from this forum post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/301-redirect-canonical that inserting a blank space in the 301 redirect field worked for some people. But it does not work for me.

    Any idea how I can stop the redirect?
