Remove 2FA

    I have lost the recovery codes and my Auth app doesn’t work and I cannot login into my own website. I have access to FTP. I deleted the plugin from the plugin folder but I am still asked for 2FA code. How can I get rid of it? Stupid of me for losing the codes but I wasn’t expecting for the Auth app to stop working. However I have access to FTP or MysQl. Cheers!

    You could rename the two-factor plugin directory name to something like two-factor-temp under wp-content/plugins which should de-activate the plugin.

    I did just that but didn’t work. In any case I manage to reopen my auth app so I could login. Cheers!
