I plan to host all my content on a remote server i.e. img.mywebsite.com

Is there a way to configure WordPress so it uploads to this remote server?

    Hi,

It is possible to upload the contents on remote server. You need to provide full path to the remote account in wordpress admin area => Miscellaneous Settings -> Full URL path to files.

Make sure that you have set all require permissions on remote account.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

I thought it only accepted absolute paths?

    But you’re saying I would but http://remoteserver.com/path/to/directory/ ?

Would think you would have to have open access on the remote server which would be extremely dangerous. Other than that I think you would need to try it yourself and see. I and maybe most people on here would never do that for security purposes which is why you probably have not received a reply.

    Thank you webjunk!
