rel=”next” for last page

    Hi
    I had installed seo yoast plugin. I am handling rel tags using Yoast. But i observed that Yoast plugin shows rel=”next” for last page. I think this is wrong. Please let me know what setting i should do to resolve this issue.

    Hi @slideuplift,

    Looking at your archive pages, we see that the archive pages from page 4 to page 7 are not showing a 404 error, as they should when there are no posts to display on the archive.

    We think this might be what is causing the error. Page 8 is the first page on the archive to show a 404 error and page 7 does not show a rel=”next” tag as it should.

    Can you please perform a Conflict Check? This will let you find out if this issue is being caused your theme or another plugin.
