relative links for images

    Is it possible to configure WP, so uploaded images will use relative paths instead of absolute paths?

    I hate to ask, but why do you want to do that? Last I checked that breaks the display of images inside feeds, at the least.

    Because I have WP hosted on a local IP address (192.168.x.y) and when I access it through that IP, the local IP address is stored in the image URL.

    So when you embed an image in a post it doesn’t show over the Internet. In my humble opinion this is a bug, and the path to an image should be made absolute by take the relative path and prepending it by the wordpress URL in Options.
