    Hello
When the price is empty and the “add to cart” button turns into “read more” and links to the prduct page, the link keeps the attribute rel nofollow, which I believe is wrong. How can I remove it? Maybe I’m missing something. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

  • Hi there,

The rel=nofollow is not provided by WooCommerce. Can you please check this behavior in the default Twenty Seventeen theme – https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/ and by disabling all of your plugins except WooCommerce.

If the behavior no more exists, try switching the theme back and check this again. If it gets back, the theme is causing the issue. Else, try the same with activating the plugins one by one. and find the plugin causing this.

If you don’t want to do this on your live site, you can clone your site to a staging environment, where you can test without affecting your users.

If your host doesn’t provide staging facilities, a simple way to do it is using the free WP Staging plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

Let us know if you still need help after this process.

Thank you so much for the thorough response. You confirmed my worst fear though. Hate it when it comes to that. I’ll get to it. Since this is an issue particuar to my situation, marking as solved. Thanks again.
