    Hi,

So we’re understanding it correctly, the SEO data optimization is failing to complete under your WP admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Tools, is this correct?

If so, please refer to this help center article for more information on how to troubleshoot it accordingly — https://yoast.com/help/seo-data-optimization-not-complete-successfully/

I tried all steps but it stops with an error OEPS.
I think it’s a problem with variable products. I have this problem with 2 websites. Both have only variable products. It started after the last Yoast update.

    Hi,

We understand you are getting the ‘oops something went wrong’ message upon attempting the SEO data optimization.

Could you check your browser’s console and check for any errors?

    – If the browser’s console window shows errors marked in red, please check for conflicts with other parts of your site.
    – If you see errors such as a 404 or a 403 or a 503 it is likely the result of the REST API being blocked. Please contact your host provider and have them verify that the file pathway mentioned is unblocked. Your host provider may need to make changes to permit Yoast to access the REST API. They may also need to make adjustments in the mod_security.
    – If you are using a security plugin, that may also generate an error. Please contact the security plugin authors for how to permit access.
    – If the site is using cache they may need to remove that file pathway from the cache. This is especially true if the site is using varnish.
    – Finally, some host providers may restrict the amount of REST API calls made. You may need to verify that no restrictions are in place.

The same thing is happening on another site with only simple products.

It is on all my 6 sites! Not possible to run data optimization.

    Oeps error

@eduits Thanks for your reply. Can you please confirm whether the issue still occurs when using a default theme such as TwentyTwentyOne, Yoast SEO, and WooCommerce active?

    Thread Starter eduits

    (@eduits)

It is our Theme! We use Woodmart on all our sites. When we disable Woodmart Core, it will run! Maybe you can discuss with Woodmart theme. I already send them a message. Thank you.

@eduits If a feature won’t specifically work with a theme but will with a default theme it does indicate it’s an issue with the theme. We would recommend reporting the issue with the theme developers as you have done, and if it’s developer’s require any information from ours they can reach out to ours via GitHub.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
