Registration Field URL Link, File Upload
-
Is the URL link for the admin to fill in? Or for the members?
For the URL link field it is asking for the field key, what should I put in there.
Where do I add in that URL link if its for the admin only?
If not what should I still add in the field key?For the file upload it’s requiring a field key what should I add in there?
To add in the my Policy Rules and Regulations form, I am not sure where to add that in I see a checkbox as one of the option to the left side of the set up field. Is this where I add in my Policy Rules and Regulations forms? And it say checkbox is there where they have to put in that checkbox? If not where should I add this in and how?
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi,
as I explained in the email exchange we had yesterday, it is currently not possible for the admin to add a link to the registration form.
It will be possible in the next version.
Fieldkey of fields can be anything you want. Make sure it is all lowercase and one word only.
Thanks. I am having an issue. I have added in the widgets for Change Password, when clicking on it, on my apple laptop it works. However on the iphone and clicking on the Change Password is goes to Login Page. That’s seems to be the only one I am having issues with those widgets. I have tried over to redo the Change Password and it keeps doing the same thing. Can you help me out?
Hi,
yes sure, we’ll need to have a look at your website. Could you please provide a link so that we can check?
Thanks
Yes the website link is busspro.com you don’t need to enter any password I have turned off.
Or if you like you can go to wordpress.com and enter the email address [redacted] and you can check from my admin side as well. Thank you.

@donna4u2 Please do not make that offer. @paoltaia would get into real trouble had they took you up on that.
Had he made that request (he did not) then this would be the reply.
I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.
- Ask for a link to the http://pastebin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
- Ask the user to create and post a link to their
phpinfo();output. - Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
- Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
- Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
But in this case, the it was the user who offered. 😉 You get the idea.
Hi @donna4u2,
This is an open forum, your replies here are open to public viewing, i highly advise you to change the password for the account you just posted.
The change password shortcode is used on a page during the password reset process, it is not meant as a general change password widget. A logged out user can request a new password on from the link on the login form, that shortcode is used on the page link that is emailed to the user.
Sorry for the confusion, i will try and make that widget more clear.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Ok thanks for that explaining. Can you please help me with my second issue regards to the all the fields not showing up in the registration field. It’s in the there in the forum as well.

Hello,
We are still willing to help, though i am a bit confused at what the current question is?
I guess you are asking how you can ask your users to post a link to their phpinfo? If so i guess you could either add a url input or a text area input and then set it to show on the registration form (if thats what you want).
Please ask clear questions so i can help better 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
Yes thanks you for that info.post a link to their phpinfo.
ok thanks.
1. under UsersWP > Form Builder, add a URL field.
2. On that field click “show advanced”.
3. My Suggested settings:
Label: PHPinfo url
Field key: phpinfo
is active: yes
admin only: no
is public: no
is required: (your call)
Include this field in register form: (if you want? if so you then need to add it under the registration tab on the same page)
Include this field ONLY in register form: (i would guess no, you would want them to be able to change it in their profile later)I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Not sure which label you where referring to. I did add in that this label
Field Label: PHPinfo url that just changed my name of my main heading to PHPinfo
instead of Yourself this is the subject that as for Field key: phpinfo I had input that in to the Field key. As for active I have uncheck. Admin is uncheck.Fort the given field I did the same although for the Field key I am not able to change. I have input your suggestion? It’s still not going to the main registration form of the home page.
Can you check out my site.

It need to be active (it needs to be checked)
Then on the Registration tab (near the top of the form builder page), you will be able to select what fields to show and then drag drop them to position the order.
Stiofan
I am editing mobile 1, I have it set to check mark active. It’s still not showing. Any other suggestions? I was not able to change the field key since that was given and unchangable. When a user register will all those field show on the Register form with all those field that I have drag over to the right side of the form builder?
Where can I add in a url field? I don’t see it on the Advance?
Yes, if set to active and set in the register tab they should show on the registration page.
They way it works is,
1. Add any field in the normal builder, click “advanced settings” and set “Include this field in register form”.
2. This will now show under the builder register tab, here you can set to to show on the form and drag/drop the positions. You can also set a terms and conditions page under UWP> General > Register > Terms and conditions.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Thank You Very Much I appreciate it. I got it to work for my Terms And Conditions
I went to UWP>General>Register and click on the drop down menu and choice my Privacy Policy.-
