Registration errors

    Hi I am having problems with the registration pages

    1. If an error message is displayed eg password is not complex,the registration process still appears to send an activation email to the user, rather than waiting for the problem to be corrected
    2. If we correct the password complexity problem we then get an error to say the user exists?
    3. If we delete the user and try again we get an error to say the username already exists

    So the account appears to get created even if an error exists, and it also appears to be retaining infomration about deleted user?

    I have a staging / dev site but don’t seem to be having the same problems, yet the settings look the same. Could you pleae advise?

    Update: I can replicate this on another dev site. I have deleted and resinstalled the plugin, created new forms etc and the issues persist. I tried other registration forms with the same credentials as older deleted accounts and these appear to work, but not when using UM registration forms.

    This problem is preventing us from registering new users, so I would appreciate some urgent help.
