• Hello,

I am not hosted by Godaddy, I cannot connect my WP to the Jetpack, get this error:

Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

I disabled all plugins and it was still not working. I deactivated the theme to a default one and still not connecting.

Anything I can do to connect?

    THANKS!!!

    Hi,

For Jetpack to work, we need to be able to communicate with your site’s xmlrpc.php, which I’d expect to be located at http://joshuatreechamber.org/xmlrpc.php (it could be other places, reported in the head of your homepage that’s being redirected currently).

When trying to access that page, I’m getting a no data error, suggesting that the hosting provider may have it blocked.

Could you contact your hosting company asking them if they’re accepting XMLRPC communication from Jetpack/WordPress.com?

    Thanks!
