Support » Plugin: Restrict Content » Register Form redirect

    I am a big fan of RC Pro – working well for a couple of clients.

    This client just needs the simple functions in Restrict Content. However, using the register_form short code, the register form goes, simply, to an otherwise blank page that displays the form info at the top:

    {“success”:true,”data”:{“success”:true,”user”:{“need_new”:true,”id”:10,”login” …etc.

    I’ve disabled plugins, gone back to the twentysixteen theme, made sure the rc-register.js is in the page – no luck. Any clues or suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hi @lectest1,

    I’m unable to reproduce that problem. Do you have any mu-plugins, drop-ins, or anything custom at all installed?

    Hi! The same problem happens to me. I have just installed the plugin, and the registration form redirect to a blank page with a json object.

    {“success”:true,”data”:{“success”:true,”user”:{“need_new”:true,”id”:4,”login”:”teste3″,”email”:”teste@email2.com”,”first_name”:”jess”,”last_name”:”081266198888″,”password”:”123″,”password_confirm”:”123″},”redirect”:”http:\/\/localhost\/Pessoal\/mme\/cadastro\/”}}

    I have installed ACF plugin, Contact Form 7 and Yoast SEO to my theme.

    Hi @jbwestphal,

    Thanks for the extra info. I’ll dig into this to see what I can find and get back with you when I know more.

    @jbwestphal and @lectest1,

    We just released version 2.2.3 that addresses this problem. It would happen if javascript was disabled in your browser, and possibly if another plugin or your theme are causing any javascript errors.

    Thanks for reporting it!
