Register a subscriber from another site.

Hello. I run a membership site (not wordpress). I also have a wordpress site. Both sites are on the same server. I would like my new sign ups on the membership site to be added as subscribers to my wordpress site when they join the membership site.

So, is there some example of php code anyone can post that inputs new subscriber data into the wordpress database?
