Region Description not outputting as html

Hi there!

I am testing the plugin as a possible solution, and most everything seems to work as I need, except for the region description. I set up the field to be a text area and to show html highlight markup, however it does not output as html on the frontend or dashboard area when I preview it.

Is there something I’m missing to make this text area output the html?
