Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you running any custom code in your site? Do you run a cache plugin in your site or does your server run any caching system?
Also just to be on the safe side, can you read the following documentation. I just want to make sure that your Stripe API is configured correctly.
https://s-plugins.com/general-settings-configuration-of-stripe-payments-plugin/
Let me know if the above information helps you in any way.
Kind regards.

Thanks, no custom code but i run “Lightspeed Cache”, before that “WP Super Cache”.
Some sales are completed with the plugin, but I was using the site my self and notice this intermittent error message on my Windows PC, have not noticed it on my android phone or tablet, that’s why i thought it might be a cookie problem.

Since the error is intermittent, it’s most likely caching or a conflict.
On caching: deactivating Lightspeed Cache isn’t enough on its own if the cached pages weren’t purged first, the old cached version can still be served until it expires or is cleared. Please purge all cache (server-level too, if your host runs one) and also make sure the page with the payment button is excluded from any caching, as explained here:
https://s-plugins.com/impact-of-caching-on-e-commerce-sites/
If the error persists after a full cache purge, please run this conflict test next:
