reduce white space top margin

Have tried several suggestions (previous posts) for css style inserts (Row, Attributes,CSS Styles) and none seem to make any difference. I’m using Advantage theme. Have tried theme settings and settings page builder but no options to set top margin. I’m now at a loss what to try.

I’m curious why none of the suggest local CSS style suggestions have no effect. Seems as though there is a default setting somewhere that overrides everything.

Any help most appreciated.

My site is not live yet I’m still constructing it and would like to sort this asap
