    I would request to help me with reducing post excerpt length and a “read more” link.

    Wondering if just adding excerpt length to style of “minimal grid” would be best?

    .void-grid .minimal .cat-links,
    .blog-excerpt {
    display: none;
    }

    Turns of category and excerpt completely.
