I’ve got four domains redirecting to one URL. They’re at GoDaddy and the site is hosted at Siteground. The domains are parked at Siteground and the A record at GD is pointed to the IP at SG. It worked fine … until I installed Swift Performance Lite. Two of the four now don’t redirect, they show an error page. The other two, I believe, are showing an old cached version of the site (at least it’s not an error).

If I disable Swift, the redirects work fine. I’m also using the free Cloudflare via Siteground and have tested turning off HTTPS redirects there and also putting them here: Settings > General > Tweaks > Custom htaccess.

Nothing seems to work except disabling Swift.

Sounds like a misconfiguration in Siteground and/or Cloudflare. I use Swift with Siteground in combination with Cloudflare on regular base and have no problem with it.

Do/did you use also the SG Optimizer plugin? When you enable Swift, you don´t need that.

Did you purge cache after changing settings in your configuration?

Without viewing your configuartion it is hard to give you a solution.

I was able to get it to work, eventually. Somehow, Siteground controls the redirects just by having the domain parked there and the A record at GoDaddy pointing to the IP address. I went one step further and set the redirect in cPanel and made sure all parked domains were connected to CloudFlare (side note: two of them wouldn’t connect for some reason, still trying to figure that out).

It still didn’t work until I moved the redirect stuff in .htaccess (I assume that was added by Siteground when I redirected in cPanel??) to the top, above all the Swift stuff.

So all is well for now. Thank you for your time!
