Redirects not saving!

    Hi. When I enter a Source URL and Target URL in the Redirection plug in:

    1. The URL entered does not get saved (i.e. current item count is 7, it should be 8 with the added redirect)

    2. The plugin claims the redirect got saved, but I cannot find the particular URL redirect in the item list

    3. The page does not redirect at all, likely because the redirect does not exist

    Our previous redirects are still intact. I cannot save a new redirect at this time. On a similar thread, the creator asked if our REST API is being cached, and while I don’t know how to check whether or not it is, we are indeed using WPRocket along with Cloudflare.

    Can you please tell me what to do about it if caching the REST API is indeed the issue? Thank you.

    Your REST API (/wp-json/) should be excluded from caching, as should all wp-admin pages.

    Thanks john! In the case of WP-Rocket, is it so simple as to:
    1. Go to WP Rocket > Advanced Rules
    2. Write “/wp-json/” in the “Never Cache these Urls” section?

    Hi ! Re-opening because writing “/wp-json/” in the “Never Cache these Urls” section of WP Rocket > Advanced Rules does not solve, unfortunately, the problem. Am I missing something?

    I don’t use WP Rocket so I can’t advise there. It might be worth asking WP Rocket how to avoid caching wp-json (which is is something that should really never be cached anyway).

    Of course, the problem may not be connected with this at all.
