• Hi

I used to have an account at steamboatfriday.wordpress.com which I redirected to steamboatfriday.com last year. Upon request my subscribers were transferred. Since then I noticed that I did not gain any wordpress subscribers, probably because my posts were no longer showing up in the wordpress.com reader or I was just posting useless content!

This morning I changed my theme & out of sheer curiosity, made two posts through my old steamboatfriday.wordpress.com account instead. These two things happened,

    1. I suddenly had people liking the posts (which means they were visible in the wordpress reader)

    2. Got this error:
Your blog uses a domain subscription that has expired. Please visit your My Upgrades page to renew. When I click on My Upgrades, I get this message: This upgrade will be renewed automatically in 11 months on March 12, 2015

After publishing the post, I noticed it wasn’t redirecting to steamboatfriday.com and instead showed up on my old steamboatfriday.wordpress.com layout. I copied and pasted the text and posted it once again through my wordpress dashboard on steamboatfriday.com. This time it worked.

The issue I currently have is that I am getting notifications of people liking my posts and even had new followers but I cannot see them on my steamboatfriday.com blog. I have Jetpack enabled and have set Likes on all pages. Furthermore, I can see 2 new followers when I log in from steamboatfriday.wordpress.com but can’t see them on steamboatfriday.com, only keep receiving notifications.

I understand its a bit complicated and hope I’ve been able to express the issue clearly! Hoping someone can advice me.
