redirecting to magento

I need a redirect code for my wordpress page to my magento page where the wordpress page isiframed. Confusing? Here is a step by step:

1. wordpress is installed in public_html/blog and seen on 123.123.123.123/blog
2. iframe code is placed in CMS Page and blog seen on 123.123.123.123/newblog so that it has site’s header and footer.
3. in .htaccess when I use “redirect /blog/ /newblog/” it shows the /blog/ site in layed duplicates, one after the other with site header on the /newblog page.
