• I am wondering if there is a way to redirect the default login form for Membership 2 (pro) to another form?

    Background:
Our company uses Membership 2 to manage content in one of our web properties. It has been awesome so far! For us, Membership 2 hides everything from specific block content via short codes to entire pages & posts.

Our company has decided to move to a single sign on option for all of our public web properties. Since we are implementing this new SSO option, we need to use that login form as the login portal AND as the form that pops up if someone clicks on protected post content from a preview. (Example: a post excerpt is displayed on the home page, user clicks “read more” and is prompted to login before they can view the full post). We are able to solve for the general login portal issue but not the protected content issue.

This bring up two issues I am hoping you can help us with:

Is it possible to redirect the default login form for Membership 2 (pro) to the new SSO form (we have a specific URL for the new form)
Is it possible to do that without losing the ability to take the user back to the content he/she was trying to access?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello,

I’m afraid that such option is not possible with M2 without some custom development to make it working that way.

You can go to Membership 2 > Help > API Docs to find more info about using M2 API in process of building this custom solution.

    Best regards,
