Redirect not working

I’m using CPT UI Extended to manage a custom post type called Story. I’d like the breadcrumbs from these posts to lead back to a static page, but the only way I’ve found to get the post type breadcrumb to link is to set “Has Archive” in the post settings. That directs users to the archive page – fine. I thought I could create a redirect to go from the archive url I set up to the static page. For some reason, it does not redirect. Any suggestions?
