redirect not working

changed website from GoDaddy template to wordpress in June. SEO tells me I have 63 broken links. old website pages all ended in .html new wordpress pages do not. I loaded simple 301 redirects into my dashboard. I tried entering old link: http://www.perfecteventsia.com/day-of-wedding-coordination.html into the left hand side of simple 301 (old link) and on the right hand side I thought all I had to do was put in the correct link: http://www.perfecteventsia.com/day-of-wedding-coordination/ Just leaving out the .htnml However, when I click on the old link it still gives me the 404 error message. What am I doing wrong?
