Redirect Loop and Login Issues

Help!!

OK – I did a website for my friend and the front end is working fine. However, I haven’t been in it for a little while (couple of months) and went in to try and add some more stuff to it and I am getting a redirect loop error when I try to go to the admin page.

The website is fine on the front-end and I don’t remember installing any new plug-ins last time I worked on the site.

I read through the various entries throughout the forum on this topic and I tried moving all of the plugins out to a different directory and that did not solve the problem. I also tried replacing the .htaccess file with a blank .htaccess file and removing the file altogether with no success (that just gave me an invalid link error.)

I tried going directly to http://www.eacgym.com/wp-login.php and a login page will come up there but it doesn’t recognize my login or email when when I say ‘lost password’. NOTE: This site doesn’t have any ‘users’ on it that actually login — just my one admin account, so not sure if that is why that page approach doesn’t work.

I am out of ideas and very much appreciate anybody that has any ideas!!
