Redirect after login

Hi,

I have a member only site using this plugin. I really enjoy the ease of this plugin. I am experiencing some issues; that I see have been asked but not fully resolved, about redirection.

My site is member only, and as my members move along in the site they get higher and higher roles.

So I have a lot of user roles, I wanted to change the initial role for members registering.

I want when people register they become member A, and they see only a few pages, which are extended pieces of my registering process. Then I can make them Member B where they can access the home page and so on.

I was having a lot of issues with that, no matter what after registering the member would be redirected to the home page, even though I have the user role redirect assigned to a different page.

Then I seen on another question you all said the registering role needs to be the subscriber. So I made the initial role the subscriber and the redirection works like a charm, on registration.

If my member logs out, they see my home page, even though I have the subscriber user role logout options redirect back to the login page. Also if they decide to logout and to log back in as Member A they see my home page. However with user roles etc I have the home page set to only be accessible to Member B.

Full disclosure I am also using user access to restrict access to certain pages. However that plugin [user access] is not being used for the subscriber role.

Please if you can, help and guide me on how I can make my subscriber role redirect to my desired page upon login!
