    If your website is a root website
    RedirectMatch 301 ^/old-page/$ http://www.example.com/new-page/

    If your website is a subfolder website.
    RedirectMatch 301 ^/subfolder-name/old-page/$ http://www.example.com/subfolder-name/new-page/

    If your Host is Go Daddy see this Forum link below. Server changes have been made recently on Go Daddy that affect redirect .htaccess code.

    Add your redirect .htaccess code to this BPS Custom Code text box: CUSTOM CODE BOTTOM HOTLINKING/FORBID COMMENT SPAMMERS/BLOCK BOTS/BLOCK IP/REDIRECT CODE: Add miscellaneous code here, click the Save Root Custom Code button, go to the Security Modes page, click the Create secure.htaccess File AutoMagic button and activate Root Folder BulletProof Mode again.
