Hi Alex,
It’s advisable not to post license keys publicly (if a kindly mod can take a look and remove it, that would be appreciated) 🙂
Since your problem relates to recurring events can I also ask you to post on our PRO support forum? That’s the appropriate venue for questions relating to Events Calendar PRO (I’m afraid we’re actively discouraged from supporting premium forums here in a forum for a completely free plugin that is distributed via wordpress.org/plugins).
Thanks!

Apologies, I was getting very frustrated and not thinking.
I had copied an email that I had sent to the team as I am unable to post in the PRO support forum due to an earlier and expired Licence Key. I received a response advising me to post in this forum.
Thanks
Ahh that makes sense Alex. Like Barry said the WordPress.org forums rules discourage providing support for premium (pay) plugins.
It sounds like you are updating the core plugin but not updating the PRO addon along with it (which you need a license to do). Errors will happen when running mismatched versions. It is advisable to either downgrade the core plugin to the same version as the Pro addon, or get a license and update the Pro plugin. This will likely resolve your error.
Cheers!
