Recurring classes and calendar compatibility

I offer classes that run for 6 week sessions and would like to have those display on the WP FullCalendar as a recurring event. Problem is, if I set it up as a recurring event in Events Manager it shows up in my event list 6 times. I tried to link this to a single event as suggested in a previous forum topic using [event event_id=”x”]#_BOOKINGFORM[/event], but this still lists the class multiple times in my event list which is not what I want, even if it shows up as a non-bookable event. I can enter this as a single event for booking purposes, but is there any good way to have this show up on all the days the session meets on my calendar?
