I set up a ReCaptcha with with the UncannyOwl Front End Login functionalisty, but I must have done something wrong as I keep on getting an error message and am unable to log into my site. how can I deactivate the recaptcha from the back end of my site so that I can access my site again.

Hi @shaunl8 , sorry to hear about the issue.

Are you using any other reCaptcha plugins on the site? They could potentially conflict. Can you also confirm the exact error message you’re getting?

For testing login form changes it’s a good idea to stay logged in as an admin and test changes in an incognito window. That way if anything goes wrong you can still change them while signed in.

Yip, I was really stupid to do it, I know!

The error I am getting is :

ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type

I’ll try your recommendation

Hi @shaunl8 , I ran it by our team and they believe you might be trying to use a V3 key with the Toolkit. The Toolkit support reCatcha V2 only (see https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/versions). Are you able to confirm?

We’ll close this one out since it has been over 6 weeks without an update and it should be used by using reCaptcha v2.
