If you want basic functionality for the courses, Tutor LMS would work perfectly with Ultimate Member.

Thank you, but can you explain why this one?
Because I have been using TutorLMS with Ultimate Member for more than a year now, and it has been an excellent combination for managing my online courses. It has never caused any problems for me when it comes to creating courses. I have the paid version of TutorLMS and free version of Ultimate Member, but the free version of TutorLMS also offers a lot of functionalities. You can check them out by downloading the free version and trying it for yourself. It is very user-friendly and makes it easy to create lessons, quizzes, or assignments.
One of the features I love is that you can issue certificates for different courses, which is a great way to add value for your students. You can also enable and view the results of quizzes and assignments easily. Additionally, you can manually enroll students into courses if needed, and you have the flexibility to create both free and paid courses. TutorLMS integrates seamlessly with WooCommerce, making it simple to manage paid courses and transactions.
With Ultimate Member, I created a system where users need to sign up on my website to access the courses. Once they sign up, I review their registration and approve them before they can log in and see the courses. I’ve set it up so that courses are not visible to unapproved users. This means even course previews are hidden. Unless I approve the registration, users cannot access any part of the course content. This system has worked perfectly for me and ensures that only the right audience gets access to the courses.
If you’re looking for a similar setup, I highly recommend giving it a try. Start with the free versions of both TutorLMS and Ultimate Member, and you’ll see how user-friendly and efficient they are. The additional functionalities in the paid version are also worth exploring if you need more advanced features.
