Recent updates broke the editor

The theme’s main content container is failing to contain the Gutenberg block editor’s image alignment classes. Left and right-aligned images are breaking out of the content width restrictions inside the backend editor canvas. Having to force additional CSS code to get blog posts using the basic WP editor to correctly wrap text around Medium-sized images aligned to either side.
