i found out my problem when posting page i clicked showcase template.
but now at the bottom it shows a comment box?
how do i get rid of the comment box?
Firt try quick editing the page and unchecking allow comments.
where do i go to quick edit the page?
You need go edit for each page you do not want comments on and untick allow comments. If you do not see it click screen options on right hand top corner and tick discussion

Admin Dashboard>Pages>All Pages>hover over a page in the list and click ‘quick edit’
