I do use custom home template and photos (futured) and also I do not see the photos.

hello, the recent posts in this theme just pulls in the content from the post (title, image if it has one and excerpt). If the post doesn’t have an image in the content then an image will not be displayed in the recent posts on the homepage.

It takes the photo from the post itself, Not featured image of the post.
I have put 2 photos and text between and it shows all as in zoom out.
Wouldnt it be better If it will show the futured image ?

Could I ask, what size the images in the posts should be to show like they do on the theme demo?
I tried using original size used in the images in theme demo 960 x 400px and did align none – but not quite working
