    Hi There

I’ve just found out that Yoast should give me a column called “Received internal links.” I don’t have this and have no way of getting it. I note the guidance is this:

    • In WordPress, go to SEO>General
    • Click on the ‘Features‘ tab
    • For ‘Text link counter‘ make sure this is set to ‘On‘
    • Click ‘Save changes‘

After ensuring that this is enabled, then we would recommend again checking whether the option is enabled in ‘Screen Options‘ for the posts overview. When clicking ‘Screen Options‘ you should then see a checkbox for ‘Outgoing internal links‘ and ‘Received internal links‘, both of which should be checked

But I don’t have the option for ‘Received Internal Links’

I currently have Free version Yoast 18.1 and I have not done a SEO data optimisation or a SEO workout. I have had Yoast for nearly 4 years.

    Hi @tuppenny22

We recommend updating to the latest version of Yoast SEO 18.2. Then if you’ve already enabled the text link counter feature, could you go to your WP admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Tools and confirm if you’ve done the SEO data optimization process?

If you haven’t yet, please do complete it, and then go to your posts or pages overview and see if you are able to locate the columns for the ‘received internal links’ as well as the number of ‘outgoing internal links’.

Thanks Michael! That worked, I now have the received internal links option.
    Perfect!

    Hi,

We’re glad to hear it’s now working as expected!

We’ll be closing this forum thread in order to keep the overview.
