Hi harveyl12,
I’m sorry for the trouble! It looks like you may have removed the reCAPTCHA from that form — I was able to submit it without issue.
I can see from this page’s source code, though, that the code needed for reCAPTCHA is being loaded more than once — and this duplication of code will cause the error you described.
There are two ways to solve this:
1) Try to determine where the other reCAPTCHA code is coming from, and turn it off. For example, sometimes we find a theme setting for this or it could be coming from a different plugin (most often another plugin that includes forms). There are times, though, when this isn’t a feasible option.
2) You could use the free WordPress Zero Spam plugin instead. Their honeypot technology is really good, the plugin has no setup (we have built-in integration), and you can’t even see it in your forms. Then you can turn of reCAPTCHA in your WPForms.
I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know 🙂
Hi,
I still have this issue,
How can I get the captcha button working?
Hi harveyl12,
I took a look, and your site is still showing the same issue I mentioned earlier — the code for reCAPTCHA is being loaded twice on the page, which will prevent it from working.
Could you please try one of the two options I listed in my previous message and let me know how that goes?
Thanks!
Hi harveyl12,
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m closing this issue. But if you still have any questions, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
Thanks!
