I am currently using the free version of the plugin. The site is receiving spam with a Version 2 Checkbox activated. I have tried using both Version 2 Invisible and Version 3 (with correct keys) to see if they work better, but both say that the verification fails. I tried lowering the score on the V3, but that made no difference. I’m not even sure how the verification fails on a V2 Invisible.

I see from this thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/lots-of-spam-recaptcha-seems-to-be-failing/ that spam getting through is an ongoing problem. As well as helping with the problem above, can you tell me whether you anticipate this being fixed. You also say in this thread that you were implementing an anti-spam option in the next version which I updated to today, but cannot see anything on it.

I look after this site for a client and they are considering upgrading to a premium plugin, but cannot expect them to do so with Form Maker if they are getting spam with on Recaptcha option and the other options don’t work.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Dear user, the most probably the Recaptcha keys were not generated correctly that’s why you get an error with Recaptcha 3 and Invisible Recaptcha. Can you please try to generate and add keys again?

As for the version with anti-spam protection, that will be available next week.

Hi there
I upgraded to the latest version of your plugin today, noting that in the Changelog it mentions working with Recaptcha 3, but nothing about anti spam protection. Did that not make this version?

I regenerated Recaptcha Version 3 keys and tried changing my form to Recaptcha 3 and it failed the verification.

I also noted that in the Version 2 Checkbox that I’m currently using for the form (that is letting Spam through) – Google is now reporting the error ‘We detected that your site is not verifying reCAPTCHA solutions. This is required for the proper use of reCAPTCHA on your site.’ Does this mean that Form Maker is not sending the verification back to Google when it’s performed? Is that why the Spam is getting through on Version 2 Checkbox?

I have the same issue using regenerated v3 keys – nothing gets through, all fails the verification.

Same issues here, the plugin worked for me for 2 years without any issues. After updating on
july 20 2019, I received about 500 spam emails. I reconfigured reCAPTCHA several times. Updated again today july 28 2019. Same issue. Reconfigured the forms, new spam within the first minute I published them. Something is very wrong with this plugin after the update. If there is not a solution within the next few days, I have to say goodbye to the plugin that once worked fine.

Dear users,

Anti-spam protection feature will be added this week, maybe even tomorrow.

As for Recaptcha3, did you create new keys for version 3? The v2 keys won’t work for v3, and vice versa, so if you switched back to v2 and it works without changing the keys, then it’s definitely v2 key pair. Please try to create a new key pair for Recaptcha 3.
