    Hi,

Looking at the code, it seems $tmp might be undefined if a mb_substr of the field being used for the alphabetical index doesn’t return a value, which sounds strange. If there is strange config it should at least return an empty string or a boolean false.

If you not intending to use alpha nav, unticking it from the overview settings page should stop the plugin trying to create the index values.

The other possibility is that the code got corrupted? OR that you dont have multibyte (mb_) module enabled – but then it would give undefined function.

If you think the alpah nav config is ok, maybe try reloading clean code? Please let me know how you go. I’ll dabble around and see if I can recreate that message.

I’ve played around trying to recreate what you describe and am unable to. I work with debug on all the time.

So I can only suggest try reloading clean code of latest version. Perhaps you accidentally edited something ?
