    Hi everyone!

    I’m struggling a lot with my WordPress website.

    Last week I published a post and my WordPress theme automatically generated the first 25 words as a summary on the homepage. A summary is exactly what I want, however, I want to be able to choose how many words I want myself. I created a ‘summary’ when editing the post: the summary shows up, but the ‘read more’ but doesn’t. Now it seems like it’s just a very short post.

    Who can help me out? I basically tried everything (plugins, changing the theme settings etc etc), but it only seems like it gets more messed up.
