I am just getting started with Mailchimp and I imported a mailing list of about 300 subscribers to get the feel for the system and try a test. Then I wanted to scrub my list of obsolete entries before using Mailchimp ‘for real’. I did that, reducing my list to about 225 subscribers.

I thought I could just delete all the existing subscribers in my list and then re-import my reduced list and go from there. Apparently I didn’t understand what you meant by “permanently” — I didn’t think that mean I couldn’t re-import them.

So, now after re-importing my scrubbed list I have an audience of exactly 0 members. I see I can delete the audience and start over but I have to wait 7 days, which sucks big time since I need to launch my campaign tomorrow in advance of a weekend event.

Is there any way for me to get around this error and start fresh? I can’t believe I’m the only one to fall into this trap.

Thanks for any help. Really discouraged now.

This is so crushing. I was so ready to go with this campaign tonight and I made one bad choice and now I’m just screwed and let everybody down.

    Hi @wickerman5

I’m so sorry that happened. Unfortunately our plugin only connects to Mailchimp and sends info back and forth. We don’t have any influence on Mailchimp’s policies or anything.

I’m sorry we can’t be of more help.

    Best of luck!

Oh, right of course — was confusing the plugin with the service — thanks!
