Hi,
The only time I’ve heard of this happening in the past was when another plugin for managing roles (such as User Role Editor) removed it from the menu.
I’ve checked the latest version on both multisite and single site and it looks OK to me.
Are you logging in as an admin?
What happens when you go to this page?
http://www.YOURSITE.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ai-quiz-home
Alex
Thank you Alex for your answer.
Yes, i’m logging in as an admin.
Maybe I expressed myself in the wrong way..the icon of Quizz tool disappeared from sidebar on the left of the administration panel. I saw in this forum that somebody had the same problem 7 months ago.
I have tried the solutions you proposed, but nothing happened.
I tried to go to the page http://www.YOURSITE.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ai-quiz-home but i have an error message kind of “I have no sufficient right to go there”.
Actually, the problem happened after I wrote a long text as an explanation for the answer in the “text for correct answer”… Maybe it has a thing to do with the problem?..But now i cannot delete anything..

Hi, it could possibly be due to the correct answer text you’ve added but I can’t think of a scenario where that might happen.
The link above was an example – change the ‘YOURSITE.com to your website address. Just make sure you have “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ai-quiz-home” after it. Basically, go to the wordpress dashboard, look for the bit that says “wp-admin” in the URL and swap it out for the one above.
That will tell us if its simply been removed, or if in fact its not showing because wordpress believe you don’t have permission to view it.
Alex
ok. I had change “yoursite.com”to my website address. But my site is so far not on the web but on my computer, I have localhost:8888/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ai-quiz-home.
Should I have my site already on the web to check this? or it has to work on localhost?
S.
No it’ll work on a local host. What happens when you go there? Does it give a permissions message, or can you see the question pots?
I have the message “you haven’t sufficient permissions to access this page”
OK can you try temporarily deactivating all other plugins you may have that are active and then try again.
Thanks,
Alex
I have already deactivated other plugins, doesn’t work

Did it stop working after the latest update, or simply after you added the long correct answer text? If not after an update can you confirm what version of the plugin you have thanks
I made an update today to the 2.3.9 version. the icon was still there. And just after I added a question with a long correct answer text, and I came back to the previous page, the icon disappeared.
I tried to return to the previous version 2.3.8, but doesn’t work
Any chance you’ve changed the theme?
If not, I don’t suppose you remember roughly what you were putting in your feedback? Any strange Greek characters or anything?
No, sorry), I haven’t changed the theme, and there is no strange characters in my feedback..it was a copy-paste text from wikipedia..
Do you remember the wikipedia page? I can try and reproduce the problem this end.
