Questions Regarding Migrating From Simple Press

I’m considering migrating from Simple:Press. I see there is a tool to migrate but I have a large number of posts and use a lot of features. This was a big headache when I moved from bbpress to Simple:press some years ago. I’m not very techy. Does it make sense to go with gconverters to get the job done?

Anything else I should be aware of as far as what might be lost in translation?
