Hello

this is a beautiful plugin, this should be a nice attraction to many ppl including me 🙂

could you tell where I could set “auto expired” globally? so everyone’s ads will go expired~

Also a suggestion, could you make a auto-deletion function to those “expired” ads? we run a site with 600,000 posts, to keep db clean is very important

lastly, could we let all ads approved by admin manually? and only registered user could post a ads?

Hi,
1. the ads should expire automatically after 30 days, if you want to expire them after different amount of days you can change it from wp-admin / Classifieds / Options / Core panel.

2. i am not really planning to implement auto-delete feature in Adverts, although developing such plugin should not be that hard for someone familiar with WordPress API.

3. moderation you can enable from [adverts_add] shortcode http://wpadverts.com/documentation/allow-users-to-post-ads-adverts_add/ just change it to [adverts_add moderate=”1″].

BTW, we meant to delete both database entry and images files under folders

It’s best to hire someone at http://jobs.wordpress.net/ this is a small job and should not cost much, i would prefer not to take donations for adding code into Adverts core.

I think the “expired” adverts MUST be deleted after a grace period set by administrator, and the advert authors MUST be somehow notified/informed about this.

Ok, i will consider this as a paid addon, since this is quite easy it should be available soon, i will post in this thread when ready.
