Question regarding Menu item visibility

    Hi:

    I am currently running theme Twenty Ten 1.2

    I have a parent item I would like to turn off – in other words, not have a page displayed, but rather have the parent item non-click able. I just want the parent to display the child items under it and have them click able.

    If I make the parent private, it disappears from the site and all the child items show up.

    How do I go about changing a parent menu navigation item so it is not click able – just that it shows the drop down items?

    Any help in this would be appreciated.

    If you use a custom wordpress menu (Appearance/Menu) and a ‘custom menu’ for the link above, just don’t put a link in it. Then put the sub-items in manually.
