Support » Plugin: BulletProof Security » Question about "Login Security" Option

I see you have added “Login Security”, and I have turned that feature off since I already had Wordfence Security taking care of that.

Question: Have I just hobbled Wordfence in any way? In other words, do Wordfence and BPS depend upon the same switch or switches somewhere for counting and handling Login atempts?

    Great Plugin!

You can turn BPS Login Security On or Off. On means On and Off means Off. If you have BPS Login Security Off then it is Off and will not impact or effect other plugins that are performing login security.

BPS Login Security is actually not only Login Security, but I decided to create a Login Security plugin that does everything I wanted and needed. I have tried all other login security plugins and some did some of the things I wanted, but none of them can do it all. BPS Login Security & Monitoring does it all. Also I looked at the coding in all of the plugins that offer login security and the code is pretty much identical in all of them so what I assume is that the same code was reused/borrowed.

BPS Login Security & Monitoring code is completely original, and takes another (much better approach in my opinion) approach to login security. Plus I have sites where I only want to log account lockouts and other sites where I want to log all user logins so I created an option to have both and switch on the fly as needed. Plus I needed more control over performing manual locking and several other things that I could not find in any other login security plugin.

BulletProof Security Login Security & Monitoring Features

I will do so, and maybe even “make the switch”!

    Many thanks.
