Hi,
Assume ‘Clothing’ is also a clickable link, but they want to view the ‘Womens’ category. The user would have to hover over ‘Clothing’ for the drop down to appear, then they would need to move the cursor over ‘Boys’, ‘Girls, ‘Men’ to get to ‘Women’ at the bottom of the drop down, which they would click on.
In this scenario, the user has moved the cursor over 5 pages and clicked on one ‘Women’. So, would Instant Click preload all 5 pages if it was enabled?
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t think you’re understanding my question.
I am not asking if all 5 pages will be preloaded just by hovering over the parent category in the menu, in this scenario, ‘Clothing’. I understand if you hover over ‘Clothing’ only, then only the Clothing page will preload.
But, in my scenario, the Parent category ‘Clothing’ in the menu has 4 child menus below it, with ‘Women’ at the bottom of the vertical drop down menu.
Clothing > (parent menu)
- Boys (child menu)
- Girls (child menu)
- Men (child menu)
- Women (child menu)
So, if the visitor wants to click on ‘Women’, they would have to hover over ‘Clothing’ for the vertical drop down to appear. Then they would have to move the cursor over ‘Boys’, ‘Girls’, ‘Men’, to get to the bottom item in the drop which is ‘Woman’, and they click on it. In this scenario, the visitor has hovered the cursor over 5 pages and clicked on 1. Would the Instant Click feature preload 5 pages in this scenario?
Thanks
